Greenfield subdivisions demonstrate how urban development can coexist with environmental care, such as this one in Pukekohe. Kauri Park supports developers by delivering sustainable planting solutions that enhance biodiversity, manage stormwater, and create resilient, thriving landscapes. Our work transforms greenfield developments into vibrant communities supporting a greener future for New Zealand.

Ecosystem – ongoing regeneration.

The Nanjing Road project is a classic greenfield subdivision that carefully balances urban growth with environmental stewardship. Kauri Park worked closely with developer Greenwood Associates, alongside CPMC and Dines, to deliver a comprehensive planting programme designed to enhance biodiversity, support stormwater management, and create a sustainable, resilient landscape. The project included the establishment of over 16,000 eco-sourced plants, riparian planting along waterways, street trees for shade and amenity, and a stormwater pond that required precise installation of coir matting to stabilise the edges and support vegetation growth. Through thoughtful design and careful execution, the project fosters a greener, healthier environment for both people and nature.
