Shakespear Regional Park
As part of the O Mahurangi Penlink project, an offset mitigation planting programme was required at Shakespear Regional Park to compensate for the ecological impacts associated with the new transport corridor. Kauri Park Projects delivered site preparation, logistics coordination, planting, and ongoing maintenance across the park, with 163,000 eco-sourced plants installed to restore habitat, enhance biodiversity, and build long-term ecological resilience.
Te Ara Nui o Te Rangihaeata – Transmission Gully
Achieving good long-term environmental outcomes was a big part of the Transmission Gully project, a 27km long, four lane stretch of motorway north of Wellington, and Kauri Park’s planting of 2.5 million plants played a significant role in the results.
Ara Tūhono–Pūhoi to Warkworth
Ara Tūhono means a connecting pathway - perfect for this much vaunted stretch of motorway that extends the Northern Motorway from the Johnstones Hill Tunnels to Warkworth, contributing to the economic growth of the Northland region.
